Valentine's Day Makeup Look

I thought seeing as Valentines Day is coming up and I've just brought some new make up I would do a makeup look.

Every thing included in this look is available form UK drugstores (boots or superdrug) and is all reasonably priced.

FACE

For the face start with 17 Flawless Poreless Primer so you get a perfect, angelic looking completion. Then use L'Oreal Matte Magique Souffle Foundation for smooth skin and i use the colour 'Rose Ivory' because it's a lovely pinky tone to your skin. I then used the 17 Phwoarr Paint because it gives really good coverage.I used MUA Blusher in Candyfloss because its a baby pink with a slight shimmer in it. I then take MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter on my cheek bones. This creates a very girly, sweet makeup look.

EYES

Then I fill in my brows with MUA Eyebrow Pencil in Brunette to define the eyes. After that i take Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo in Pink Gold all over the lid. Then i lightly line my lash line using MUA Extreme Felt Liner in Black this makes the lashes look fuller. Then i us Collection Volumising Mascara Extra Volume Waterproof on my lashes to give fluttery looking lashes.This creates a very natural, pretty look.

LIPS

I then take 17's Mirror Shine Lipstick in the colour Camisole on my lips. It is a very light pinky colour and is very shiny, its almost like using a Lipgloss. The packaging is also so cool. It has a slide out mirror in the lid which makes it perfect for traveling with.

Overall the whole makeup look is very Victoria's Angel inspired.

MUA £1 Lipstick Reveiw

Sorry I haven't blogged in ages but I have am doing a review of MUA £1 Lipsticks.

I'm going to get strait into it, so here I go...

MUA Matte Lipstick 'Totally Nude'

I like the shade, It a really nice colour and very natural which I like.It is a good lipstick but it is very waxy and the the packaging in my opinion is annoying but it silver on white but it is good and i use quite often - 7/10

MUA Lipstick Shade 15 'Juicy'

This is one of 3 MUA Lipsticks that has a name instead of a number. I really like the colour of it, its a lovely peachy pink that is perfect of spring. It has a soft texture but not too sticky so i really like it. The packaging is the same as other MUA Lipsticks - 8.5/10

MUA Lipstick Shade 16 'Nectar'

I love this colour it is a lovely orange even though it looks quite red in the picture i love it. Once again a nice smooth but not sticky texture and good lasting power i love this lipstick so much. I wear it alot and looks great with gold on the eyes - 9/10

MUA Lipstick Shade 3

This is a glitterly deep pink colour with to be honest I don't wear very much but is a good from what i have used of it. It is a good texture and is applied easily and i do really like the colour.-.5/10

MUA Lipstick Shade 13

This is a typical red colour lipstick, its a really nice red colour if red suits you. I like it but they only thing is if your not very good at putting lipstick on (which im not) then its difficult to work with because it stains quite easily. But overall its a thumbs up - 8/10

Also all the bottles have another little pot of lipstick in the bottom which unscrews and is super cute

Foundation Review!

Hello, I thought i would do a foundation review because i LOVE makeup and i recently got a new foundation i only have 3 foundations but they do...

So i have "Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid", "L'oreal Matte Magique Souffle Foundation" & "L'oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint".

1. Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid, i have shade 004 light porcelain because i have very light skin. It says on the bottle "air whipped foundation airbrushed finish" i don't agree with this-Its 30ml.Its quite a heavy foundation with medium coverage. I think its a great first foundation and also just to add its not very dewy. I would give it a 7.2/10.

2. L'oreal Matte Magique Souffle Foundation, I have shade 110 rose ivory. It says "smoothed out complexion 12hr velvety matte finish", I totally agree it lasts ages and is so smooth on. You also don't need to use much of it. Its 20ml but goes a long way. It is quite light and medium coverage. Its a great everyday foundation. I would give it a 8.9/10-I LOVE it .

3. L'oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint, I have shade 100 Porcelain. It says "fresh feel foundation weightless bare perfection, I totally agree It feels like you have no foundation on i LOVE it. You barely need any to cover your whole face. Its 20ml but goes a long way. Its good coverage and very light feeling. Great or work/school-last all day. I would give it a 9.4/10.

Haul

So, I haven't posted for a while because my computer broke but recently I've been on alot of shopping trips, and I've picked up some really nice things so here they are...

The oversized t-shirt id from RiverIsland and i love it because it could almost be a dress and i wear it with leggings and knee high boots and it looks great. Its so soft and i think is spells "much with love/with much love". I also bought a basic t-shirt with a cartoon pug on it which was £3 from newlook, a oversized t-shirt with the word "vibes" on it (£3) and another oversized t-shirt with evil mickey mouse on in (£4) both from H&M

I recently got a pair of shoes from newlook which were slightly high about 2 1/2 inches which were brown swede gladiator type shoes (£8), a red, blue and white checked shirt with a studded collar from newlook (£6), a oversized superman jumper from newlook (£8), a patched sleeved navy cardigan from primark (£5), a wooley burgundy infinity scarf from primark (£5). And that's it.

Also to be random at the moment I am loving the song "If I die young" by santana from glee/Naya Rivea

Lets Just Hang About.

So, people in my year think it's fun to just walk about in a village and do nothing. I admit it I've done it once or twice but with one or two people not fifteen or twenty that's just too much. I know alot of people do it but it's when they do it, they walk around shouting and trying to make themselves look "fun", it's pathetic. I live in the same village as the school I go too. So these people are always walking past my house, knowing it's my house, walking on my front lawn, chucking rubbish in it. I hate it and only people of a paticular status get to be part of that group and they do it every Friday. It just annoys me. If you like to hang about in your village im not trying to put you down im just saying the people i know in my year who do it are like the devil in human form.

My First Blog

I thought I would start writing a blog mainly because at the moment I have to deal with a lot of difficult people and I need to just get my feelings out. At the moment I seem to be finding out that almost everyone has 2 sides, and some have 2 sides and an extremely fake front they put up so the appeal to the world and some people see through that and see the even the ugliest side of the prettiest girl. I am one of those people and im incredibly frustrated because no-one even seem to want to go against the popularity scale, they just take the place there given, it's not that I want to be popular, it's that popular people want to make other peoples life a living hell because the don't like that they have no hunger to be popular. These people will grind someone into the dirt because everyone else is and even if they like this person they will still do that because they don't dare go against what everyone else is saying and doing, because the the same will happen to them. These people will pick out one victim and get everyone to keep putting them down until they give up, and it's not fair. I'm on the bad side of these people because I saw through popularity. That's the serious part now a bit about me.

I'm a girl, still in school and I'm hating it. I live with my mum and my dad lives a few villages away. He has a girlfriend and don't like that either. I have 3 cats-frank, pippa and silver and two hamsters-Bertie and Timmy. I've got a brother a few years older than me. I love nail art and make-up and I have an uncontrollable love for horses. So that's me...
